Bambu PETG Basic
The all-new Bambu Lab PETG Basic has been upgraded to deliver PLA-level strength while maintaining its signature toughness. This makes it ideal for structural and functional parts that need to handle higher stress without becoming brittle.
With improved resistance to water, UV, and temperature, it remains an excellent choice for outdoor accessories, functional tools, and everyday-use models. The refined formulation also improves printability by reducing stringing and producing smoother surface finishes, so you get the benefits of PETG with fewer tradeoffs.

Stronger Than Ever, Yet Still Tough
Thanks to its upgraded formula, Bambu Lab PETG Basic now matches the strength of PLA Basic while retaining the toughness needed to absorb impacts. It can handle greater loads and stress than before, making it well suited for structural household parts and practical tools such as holders, wall hooks, brackets, and clips.

Mechanical Properties Comparison
| Bambu PETG Basic | Bambu PETG HF | Bambu PLA basic | |
| Strength (Bending Strength – XY) | 75 MPa | 64 MPa | 76 MPa |
| Layer Strength (Bending Strength – Z) | 56 MPa | 48 MPa | 59 MPa |
| Toughness (Impact Strength – XY) | 34.2 kJ/m² | 31.5 kJ/m² | 20.6 kJ/m² |
A Cost-Effective Choice for Outdoor Prints
Engineered for long-lasting performance in outdoor environments, Bambu Lab PETG Basic combines durability with affordability. Its strong resistance to water, UV, and temperature makes it a highly cost-effective option for outdoor applications. From garden labels to bathroom accessories, it’s a practical, budget-friendly choice for prints that need to withstand everyday conditions.

Less Stringing, Superior Surface
The all-new Bambu Lab PETG Basic shows reduced stringing thanks to its lower sensitivity to moisture compared to typical PETG filaments, resulting in smoother surfaces and crisper details.
*Drying is still recommended to optimize printing results. For more details, please refer to the Printing Tips.

RFID for Intelligent Printing
All printing parameters are embedded in RFID, which can be read through our AMS (Automatic Material System).
