Melt extrusion printers generate volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during printing, particularly when using high-temperature materials such as ABS, PC, and PA. These materials require higher heating temperatures, leading to increased VOC emissions. In contrast, lower-temperature materials like PLA produce significantly fewer VOCs. To address this, our activated carbon air filter effectively absorbs VOCs, ensuring a cleaner and safer printing environment.

Instructions
The X1-Carbon printer comes equipped with a carbon filter that purifies the enclosure’s air before it is expelled outside. To replace the filter, follow these steps:
- Remove the plastic cover.
- Gently pull out the existing carbon filter.
- Insert the new carbon filter.
- Reattach the plastic cover.
